CALL TO THE DIASPORA OF POOL
The situation of Pool is well known at both national and international level. It continues to deteriorate since the early 1990s. Pool is in Congo, the only Department which, through its disaster, has been the subject of many studies carried out by both United Nation organizations and non - governmental organizations.
These studies revealed that the situation in Pool deals with the degradation of environment and physical infrastructure, the destruction and the deterioration of schools and social structures - health, the decrease of animal and plant genetic resources.
The deliquescence of this heritage leaves a population down-at-heeled and wounded by endogenous and exogenous atrocities, with bleak prospects.
Many initiatives have been undertaken including the establishment of a Savings Cooperative of Pool, the Conference on the Development of Pool, the Patriotic Dialog of People from Pool, and Pool Development. These commendable initiatives must be promoted.
We know the entrepreneurial spirit of people in the Pool for self - development. Today, the Diaspora of Pool scattered in Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia may be the catalyst for reviving the Department. Each member of the Diaspora is characterized by individual assistance to parents. These actions, although beneficial and encouraging, however, have no impact at community level. The stake is to be engaged in concerted and planned actions for the construction of the Pool.
Who from Diaspora could remain insensitive to the situation in Pool for not wanting to do something? If so, let us do it together. There are many examples of the impact of the Diaspora on the development process of some countries around the world and especially in Africa.
Therefore, with these examples, Action Congo-Pool Inc. (A.C.P.) seeks to mobilize the Diaspora from Pool to engage in humanitarian operations in the Department. We are talking about the Pool because we're from. And it is our duty to do so urgently. A.C.P. therefore appeals to the Diaspora from Pool to combat poverty and mental, cultural and socio - economic underdevelopment that strangle the Department. A.C.P. does not address anything else than deadly pandemics that are decimating the youth of Pool. It will address nothing else than illiteracy, which criminalizes the children of Pool. It will overcome nothing else but the demons of destruction that destroyed our men and women from Pool.
This is to give back to the child from Pool who thinks that his future is to become street children, child soldier or prostitute, the resources of his/her hope, it is to console the wife of Pool, who keeps on crying, to recover her dignity, and to give her back courage and pride. It is to restore confidence in the man from Pool in self and, finally to get green and repopulate orchards and savannahs of Pool so they can recover their vitality. In a word, it is to give to Pool real life.
United together, let us arise and build up Pool.
